As part of our commitment in the Blackwall Reach Regeneration, Swan has worked with the local community to develop the Estate Resident Board which was formed in November 2015 with 15 Committee Members.

A Resident Board enables residents to get involved and collectively influence decisions that affect their homes and neighbourhood. The Board meets every month and the members are committed to working together with Swan and other agencies to address the local issues and to build a vibrant community.

The Board will also be working with Swan Community Development Team to deliver a range of community activities to address the local community needs and priorities. It has also nominated a member to the London Residents Consultative Committee who provide regular feedback at the Board meeting about Swan’s service improvement initiatives.

The Blackwall Reach Residents Board would like to encourage all residents to join their meetings.

At the meetings, residents discuss estate improvements and how Swan can better tailor services for the estate.

Meetings are usually held at 6pm in The Reach Community Hub.
