It’s been a busy December so far for the team at The Reach. First, we hosted Swan Group’s Diversity Day, welcoming speakers on a variety of diversity related issues, to an event attended by over 90 Swan staff, 2 Axis employees, 4 Swan residents, PC Lee Hawkins LGBT & Hate Crime Liaison Officer for Tower Hamlets and Deputy Chair of the Metropolitan Police LGBT Network. Topics covered included “HIV, Living Well, Ending Stigma”; Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity; and Mental Health. It was a really inspiring day for all who attended.
Then we welcomed, for the first time, the annual Swan Estates Services Awards, which brought the entire Estates Services Team at Swan together with staff from across the business, residents and representatives from Axis, Swan’s repairs partner, to celebrate the fantastic work the Estates Service Team do across Swan’s estates.
We are also delighted to now be welcoming the local women’s book club to The Reach on a regular basis and are looking forward to 2017 when a range of activities are scheduled to start including regular youth and community activities. Watch this space for further updates!
Wishing you all seasons greetings and looking forward to welcoming you to The Reach in 2017!
